Expert presentations and workshops on education and training

Welcome! The City of Oulu's Education and Culture Services are actively developing teaching and training. The city of Oulu has 84 early childhood education units (day-care centres), 46 comprehensive schools and 10 upper secondary schools.

Expert presentations and/or workshops can be organised on a variety of topics, such as the Finnish education system, basic education, early childhood education, the Finnish curriculum, transversal competences, quality work and assessment, well-being and support systems in schools, STEAM pedagogy, sustainable future, global education, entrepreneurship education and work life skills.

Duration:
- at least 1 hour
- possibility to tailor a programme for one or more days, including expert presentations and school visits (school visits are not possible during school holidays).

Expert presentations and workshops are possible:
- between August and mid-June,
- except during the Christmas and Easter holidays and other public holidays.

Reservation:
- Expert presentations and workshops are only available by prior reservation. Please email (eduoulu (at) ouka.fi) the date and time requested, the size of the group, the topics and the objective, so that the content can be planned accordingly.
- Pricing is based on the duration of the presentation/workshop, group size, content/methods and location.

Available for a separate fee and with advance booking:
- Lunch and/or
- coffee/tea and/or
- snacks.
- The price is per person.
